A Unified, Collaborative Initiative
Innovate28 is a partnership between the Fargo-Moorhead- West Fargo Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Fargo Moorhead Economic Development Corporation to deliver a collaborative vision of regional growth.
History
Innovate28 was launched as a bold regional initiative to accelerate economic growth through collaboration, public–private participation, and a strategic plan with measurable goals.
In 2023, the Cass County Commission challenged the private sector – led by The Chamber and the Greater Fargo Moorhead Economic Development Corporation – to make a bold investment in a multi-year regional plan. What began as an idea among a few visionary community leaders quickly evolved into a four-year strategic effort supported by public investment from Clay and Cass counties and private investment from more than 140 businesses.
The $3.7 million annual plan officially kicked off in 2025, built around three key pillars: Workforce, Public Policy, and Business Development.
